Our History:

Concord Foods started in 1968 in rented space in Braintree, Massachusetts. The company moved to the Avon Industrial Park in 1973 and built a 10,000 square foot plant. The plant was expanded to 44,000 square feet before the company moved in 1994 to a new facility on 20 acres in Brockton, Massachusetts. This facility has a 205,000 square foot processing plant and warehouse, as well as a 50,000 square foot building devoted to product development laboratories, offices, and rental space.

Concord Foods began with a single machine that made and filled plastic lemons and limes to be sold in the produce section of supermarkets. In succeeding years, additional products were added to the business. Through acquisitions, Concord Foods has expanded into other food product lines, which are produced and packaged in our plant in Brockton for distribution in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom. Each division (Concord, Tempo, Red-E-Made and Oringer) has its own product development, sales, and customer service teams.

The Tempo line expanded, adding 3 new products, Lemon Dill Seafood Bake, Lemon Pepper Chicken Bake and Supreme Breading. The products are a dry mix in pouches packed in a decorated box. Tempo products are sold through approximately 50 food distributors servicing supermarkets in about 60% of the United States.
