Lemon Grilling Sauce
This sauce makes a great grilling glaze for pork and chicken.
Serves: Makes about 1-1/4 cup sauce (for about 1 to 1-1/2 pounds of meat)
1/2 cup Concord Foods Reconstituted Lemon Juice
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
2 tablespoons Prepared yellow mustard
1 tablespoon Corn Starch dissolved in ¼ cup cold water
1/2 teaspoon Lemon pepper seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
- In small saucepan, stir together the lemon juice, water, sugar, Worcestershire Sauce and mustard and bring to a light boil. Reduce heat and add cornstarch mixture, lemon pepper and salt stirring constantly for 2 minutes over medium heat until thick.
- Reserve 1/3 cup to drizzle on cooked meat.
- Brush onto meat before placing on grill. Brush the top of the meat after turning once. Turn once more before done and brush exposed side again.
