Ginger Lemonade
Make an incredible lemonade from scratch in just a few easy steps.
Serves: 10
1 1/2 cups sugar
8 cups water
6-12 thin slices ginger root, peeled and sliced thin (the number of slices used may be varied depending on the strength of ginger flavor desired).
2 cups Concord Foods lemon juice
1 lemon, cut into thin slices, seeds removed
- Mix sugar, water and ginger root in a large saucepan and heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Add lemon juice, bring back to boiling and cool for at least 15 minutes.
- Remove ginger root slices and refrigerate lemonade for at least 1 hour until chilled. Stir well and serve with lemon slices.
