Summertime is right around the corner and thoughts of the sun, the beach and cool drinks are on everyone’s mind.  It is time for summer parties with family and friends.  Not only do consumers need a great refreshment to serve during the summer, but they also want something that is not too filling, as most people watch their weight when the summer starts.

SUNKIST® ORANGE ICE SMOOTHIE MIX is just the answer for all your refreshment needs. This smoothie mix has the required 100% Vitamin C of your daily value per serving (as prepared) and it is also a good source of calcium.  The sugar content is only 9g per serving, which is very low when compared to other leading ready-to-drink smoothies.

A SUNKIST® ORANGE ICE SMOOTHIE MIX is very easy to make.  Add the juice of two medium oranges (or two cups orange juice), along with water and ice to the mix to create an icy, cool orange smoothie.  One pouch has three servings and usually retails for $0.99.  These new smoothies will be launching in April, 2007 in grocery stores and Wal-Marts nationwide. “We launched the Sunkist® Lemon Ice Smoothie mix last year and based on the great response, we knew we needed to offer an additional flavor to consumers” explains Charles Olins V.P.
